“Who Can Forgive Sins But God Alone?”
Just a couple of hours ago, the Spirit of the Lord commanded me to “Release The Spirit Of Forgiveness.” When I opened my mouth to speak, these are the words that came out, “I forgive everyone of everything.” As I spoke, in the spirit, a blanket of forgiveness was released. It began covering my city, the nation and finally the entire world. At the same time something supernatural was released. It was like a load was lifted and a wind of fresh air came rushing through the nations. What was that? It Was The Spirit Of God!
The Holy Spirit brought to mind the story of Jesus healing the man that was sick of the palsy (Mark 2:1-12). Jesus said, “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” The religious leaders were offended, “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?”Jesus responded, “Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.” So what is that?
Jesus can forgive sins as an anointed man of God. So, can anyone who is anointed of God. That means any Christian has the authority to forgive the sins of others. How is that possible? Look at what Jesus told His disciples after His resurrection (John 20:21-23). “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.” This is Jesus’ command to any of His disciples, whom we are.
As Kings and Priests of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have the authority to bind and loose whatever God in heaven has bound and loosed (Matthew 16:10). It is our key to God’s Kingdom. So by releasing (loosing) forgiveness we open up heaven’s authority to Bless our families, our cities and our nation. We are not determining their eternal salvation only giving room for the Holy Ghost to move upon their lives, THEN their hearts will be open to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.
During This Thanksgiving Season, Be Sure To Forgive!
